Note -please be sure to write a note about how we know each other (or why you’d like to connect) in any connection requests!I’m a deep tech engineer with expertise spanning physics, computation, and imaging. My Ph.D. focuses on computational hyperspectral imaging — codesigning cutting-edge optics hardware & learning algorithms for biological imaging and medical diagnostics. I’m passionate about pushing the boundaries of light, cameras, and computation to build real world products across women's diagnostics, climate monitoring, space and more. I'm an empathic and visionary technical leader. I’ve led research collaborations with 15+ researchers across four institutions, mentored four undergraduates, managed artistic teams of 30+ as a theater director, previously served as President of Photobears (UC Berkeley's Optical Society Chapter) and founded Voltage (MIT's EE Club).I care about bridging the gap between innovation and impact. I have experience working at a Series C ML drug discovery startup (Insitro), a pre-seed MIT spinout (Perceptra), and in venture creation (Flagship). Raised in an entrepreneurial immigrant family, I participated in business creation from a young age. I pursued a minor in Entrepreneurship through classes at Haas School of Business. I received my B.S. and M .Eng from MIT in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (and double major in Theater Arts). I have work experience across industries - biotech, medical device, energy, consumer product.Outside of engineering, I love learning new things - whether it's pursuing my private pilot’s license, teaching windsurfing, or learning the cello at age 30. :) I’m dedicated to empowering women, having volunteered with Big Sister of Bay Area, Girl Scouts of NorCal, and Bay Area Disc Association. I also love connecting with MIT alums as Class of 2016 President and Club of Norcal VP of Core Events.
