As treasurer, I collaborate closely with ASB to oversee fund management, ensuring financial transparency and accountability. I develop and execute effective fundraising strategies, actively seeking sponsorship from local businesses, tech firms, and community organizations to secure financial backing for hackathons and other club events. My role includes meticulous record-keeping of all income and expenses and maintaining accurate financial records to support club activities and initiatives.

As elected President of the National Honor Society (NHS), I lead a 175+ member club, overseeing key responsibilities such as appointing committees, delegating service project leadership, and planning our annual calendar, including service projects, member selection, and chapter meetings. I organize bi-semester service projects, manage Community Service hour forms, and coordinate initiatives like food drives, clothing drives, and our annual school service week, all aimed at fostering community engagement and service within our school community.

STEM-HER creates and distributes free hands-on STEM learning kits for children, focusing on experiential learning to inspire and educate. Our initiatives include connecting high school girls with local establishments to develop VR projects for animal shelters and teaching STEM concepts through interactive learning kits. As a Washington State Board Member, I oversee the planning and execution of the numerous events the nonprofit organizes from STEM fairs to team management.

Captains assume a role as the face of the team. They are expected to represent their team at events such as assemblies and meetings with important organizations. Furthermore, captains are entrusted with the responsibility of making critical decisions that impact the team's direction and success. They will work closely with their team members to coordinate activities and ensure that everyone is aligned with the team's goals. Captains must effectively communicate important updates, announcements, and any changes in expectations. Their role extends beyond decision-making and communication; captains are instrumental in fostering team cohesion, nurturing a positive and collaborative environment, and promoting unity among team members. They must understand the value of effective teamwork and actively work towards resolving conflicts and maintaining open and transparent communication channels within the team. The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the coordination and performance of the team. They are responsible for creating and managing project timelines, ensuring that realistic goals and objectives are set for the team. The Project Manager diligently monitors the progress of tasks, providing necessary support and guidance to team members and addressing any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the project. They actively facilitate effective communication and collaboration between different departments, ensuring that everyone is working cohesively towards a common goal and that projects are completed within the set deadlines. Additionally, the Project Manager manages the timeline calendar, oversees documentation, tracks attendance for outreach events and daily meetings, checks in with individual members who may be falling behind, holds weekly meetings with all the leads to foster communication, and evaluates the leads' performance.

The Awards Lead ensures that the team's documentation meets the specific requirements for each award, with a particular focus on achieving the Rookie All-Star award & Engineering Inspiration. They are responsible for meticulously reviewing and organizing the team's documentation, ensuring that it aligns with the criteria and guidelines set forth by the award organizers. The Awards Lead works closely with team members to gather necessary information, develop compelling narratives, and compile supporting evidence to showcase the team's achievements and impact.

The Connections Lead is responsible for establishing and maintaining valuable connections with external entities, such as companies, organizations, and potential sponsors. Their role is crucial in securing grants, sponsorships, and partnerships that support the financial and resource needs of the team. They will actively seek out and engage with businesses and community leaders to build relationships, promote the team's goals and achievements, and explore collaboration opportunities. By effectively networking and advocating for the team, they will contribute to its long-term sustainability financially and contribute to building up the team’s outreach for the season.

Moderates and facilitates the Washington FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics Discord server moderates, a thriving online community of over 300 FIRST Washington members including students, coaches, alumni, and volunteers. Admins must help maintain a positive and inclusive environment where members can seek help, engage in discussions, and have fun. They contribute to the growth and success of the FTC program in Washington by fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams.
