Duties and Responsibilities• Monitor resident’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possiblecare and advice.• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physician.• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurement, administering injections etc.) and fill the charts.• Provide instant medical care in emergencies.• Supervise and train nursing assistants.• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients andtheir families.• Adjust and administer patients’ medications and provide treatmentaccording to physician order.• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene andsafety.• Apply sound nursing judgement in patient care managementdecision.• Escalation of the issues to the Doctor/ PACE to ensure patientsafety.• Provide patient centred care.• Palliative care of the patients.• Make and update the nursing care plan of the patients.• Incident reports and documentation.• Follow work health and safety.• Follow infection prevention and control protocols.• Medication administration including S4 and S8 drugs.• Wound dressing following ANTT

Duties and Responsibilities:• Check all the emergency drugs and equipment to make sure that all themachinery equipment is in working condition.• Assist doctors in performing diagnostic or treatment procedures such asendoscopy, endotracheal intubation and cardioversion.• Set up medical equipment such as cardiac monitors and operate infusion andsyringe pumps.• Administers treatment and medications (oral, intravenous,subcutaneous or intramuscular) ordered by the Physician.• Take responsibility for the admission and discharge of the patient.• Monitor and document patients’ conditions and the effectiveness of thecare or interventions.• Administer blood and blood products and monitor patients for adverse effects ofblood transfusion.• Provide direct care to assigned patients.• Take the nursing history, summarise data, and state nursing diagnoses/patientcare needs.• Observe and record signs, symptoms, and behaviours, including the physiologicalstatus of patients; present the assessment of changes, the proposed revision ofinterventions, and desired outcomes.• Give counselling to the patient and their families.• Draw blood samples for Arterial Blood Gas Analysis.
