Finance Internship - Under the guidance of the Assistant Accounts Manager. - Financial accounting - ERP software, general ledger maintenance, final accounts- Tax Filings - GST, TDS, (VAT, SSCL, WHT, NBT- for SriLanka)- Budgeting and Variance Analysis - Management Information Systems - Expense Management and Cost allocation - Bank Reconciliations and Account Reconciliations- Invoice accounting - invoice generations, process and verification - Management Reporting - Revenue Recognition statements ( cash flows), Premium and Commission statements, Comparative statements, etc.- Internal audit - assisted during the company audit- Debtors and Creditors Aging Analysis - Employee movement - Reconciliation of opening and closing balances for the accounting year- Collections report- Segregation of expenses based on the nature of the bill.Robust use of ERP software and MS-Office ( mostly Excel - centric)
