I’ve spent years working in education, holding leadership roles that focus on vocational education and training (VET) for both adults and young learners. Currently, I’m a vocational specialist in youth mental health, where I work closely with young people to help them find sustainable employment, education and career pathways. My role involves not just guiding them through the complexities of the job market but also supporting them in overcoming personal challenges that might be holding them back.In addition to my work, I bring experience as a board director with a strong focus on governance, risk, and strategy. This experience has deepened my understanding of how to navigate the complexities of organizational leadership and make informed, strategic decisions that drive positive outcomes.I also founded and currently run The Flamingo Project, a mentorship program designed to uplift women in the Goulburn Valley. The program is entirely free and is a space where women can connect, share experiences, and support one another in their personal and professional growth. It’s been incredible to see how these connections help women expand their networks and knowledge, fostering a community of mutual support.I’m passionate about the development of our regional communities and work tirelessly to build positive relationships within them. Whether it’s starting a conversation with someone new or taking the initiative to step out of my comfort zone, I believe in the power of connection and community.
