Born in Tahiti and raised in Paris, Neil Aline crossed the Atlantic after high school to pursue his passion for film/video production and the music business. During his studies, he produced a weekly radio show which opened up the doors for collaborations with countless DJs and music producers. After immersing himself in the industry, he founded his own record label Chez Music while touring as a DJ. In 2010, Neil was invited to host a weekly Sunday party at The Standard, High Line (NYC) and he was soon after employed as the Artistic Managing Director, programming and supervising the creative element of both Le Bain and Top of The Standard for 8 years. In late 2018, Neil relocated to the UK to join the executive pre-opening team of The Standard, London as the Director of Music & Production, where he would curate the entertainment programming. During pre-opening, Neil was key in conceptualizing the music and entertainment identity of each venue. His expertise in this field was crucial to set up partnerships with local entities and in creating their comprehensive live music and cultural programming. Since 2020, Neil moved back to New York and consulted for special events and the hospitality industry. In early 2022, Neil joined Virgin Hotels as Director of Entertainment, Global, overseeing entertainment and programming for 7 properties and future developments with inspiration from the local community while maintaining the essence of the brand.
