Co-founded Holdcom in 1987, following a fifteen year career as composer and producer of music and content for advertising, industrial musicals, and musical theatre. Originally branded as Promotions On Hold and then On Hold Productions, Holdcom was formed to provide a turnkey method for business’ to communicate with their customers and prospects via the telephone, offering scripting, voice talent, original and licensed music, equipment, and support. With the Internet, Holdcom expanded audio production capabilities into online applications, along with multilingual capabilities. Following the needs of modern digital communication and marketing, Holdcom now offers full digital and video production capabilities, along with a range of audio capabilities, combined with responsive customer service. First collaborated creatively (as composer) with future business partner, Harvey Edelman, on a musical adaptation of "The Beaux' Stratagem" entitled, "To Bed a Fortune."Composer for “Songsleuth” and “Earthkids” educational musicals published in the "Music and You" Macmillan Education Series.Composer for songs about hygiene, nutrition, and dental care for national Headstart Program, sponsored by the Soap and Detergent Association (now American Cleaning Institute), WeightWatchers, and Colgate-Palmolive.Commissioned by the Pittsburgh Playhouse to write a musical adaptation of "Puss 'n Boots," and serve as Artists In Residence, following production of our "Rumpelstiltskin."Co-wrote and produced jingles and industrial music for Bantam Books, Gray Advertising, Saatchi & Saatchi, General Electric, BMW, Mattel and Parents Magazine, among others.
