After leaving the Royal Air Force (15 years including TacSF, TSW and SFSG) Neil joined Meggitt PLC as a fuels management specialist, developing hardware & software applications & selling into a cross section of businesses, such as B.P., Elf Oil, B.A.A. & LGA's Neil then worked within the Industrial Distribution sector for Wyko (Erik's) and Bearing Power (AFC) as Branch Manager, before being approached for a role within Rotolin Bearings as Sales & Marketing Manager, growing the specialist bearings range for linear/rotary application sales on a global basis, particularly North America & Europe. In 2000 he joined Tsubakimoto, the world's largest industrial power transmission manufacturer. As UK Sales Manager, Neil developed strategic accounts in the auto, packaging, board, food, aggregate, confectionary, agri, oil, & o.e.m. industries, with key business through OEM & Distribution channels. In 2004 Neil took on the challenge as Director of International Sales for Diamond Power Transmission, part of Amsted Industries. Neil helped to restructure, plan & implement the future International business strategy for their global business, covering oil & gas, beverage, agricultural, mining, food, automotive, o.e.m. & distribution sectors in Europe, Russia, Asia, Australia, South Africa & the Middle East.2007 gave rise to the beginning of new ventures within the engineering solutions sector, including TotalCare Engineering Ltd (Partner / Director), and as a Consultant to UK Industry. Services covered specification, procurement, supply channels and logistics, through to strategic planning and implementation.In 2014 Neil made the choice to take a new path, moving to the Charity sector, and joined Forces in the Community. As Charity Development Manager he focused on fund raising through multiple revenue streams, and helped to secure significant funding growth for the charity. Red Rose Housing (Operations Manager) became the focus in 2016, specialising in supporting both military & local community with accommodation and housing needs. After a health enforced break, Neil decided to pursue further education (Counselling) and supporting UK Armed Forces Veterans charities. Neil is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees at Support Our Military Veterans.
