DUTIES:• Chief of Media Department • Manage daily graphic production as well as provide a full range of video editing/compression, digital photography, web design, and illustration work in support of the Pacific Islands Health Care System, Spark M. • Organize the production of graphics and medical center photography, clinical and research photography, computer and printed materials, public relations photography, and specialized services such as operating room photography.• Design and produce visual materials such as digital images for medical/scientific presentations, computer generated illustrations/diagrams, graphs, photographs, and charts used in books, newsletters, pamphlets, exhibits, recorded lectures, and other means of communication.• Advise and consult with directors, supervisors, and scientific personnel during the development stages of visual presentation projects to define objectives, recommend solutions, and determine the methods and procedures for productions.• Act as an adviser and make recommendations to the Patient Education Committee concerning the proposed development of instructional patient education programs.• Audio Visual Specialist - Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot all AV/projection/lighting/sound, devices, and systems. Ensure AV equipment is fully operational, repair or clean equipment when necessary. Operate and maintain house audio system. Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage and operation of AV equipment, monitor equipment operation at appropriate intervals. Break-down and secure equipment.• TMS (Talent Management System) Domain Manager - Participate in all aspects of tracking employee education, including creating new user accounts, maintenance of data bases and migration of data bases between systems.• Manage TMS user accounts, train employees, staff, and supervisors on system user interface, and troubleshoot user/system issues.• Government Contract Liaison (COTR) - Assist in the development and preparation of productions budgets, cost accounting of production activities, and implementation of the required sharing agreements and chargeback systems.• Assist the Public Affairs Officer with day-to-day operations of the Medical Center.
