Purchasing of all materials required for the day-to-day operations of a 300+ person office. Including design, set-up and relocation of all employees. Move was completed over one weekend without any disruption of performance of any services to our customers.All Facilities issues are my responsibility in our new offices to correct any issues directly or work with the building engineering personnel to make sure their responsible areas are taken care of.Mailroom operations with an average 35,000 pieces of mail inbound and also outbound each month.Scanning operations control for scanning of Medical Records, Member Claims, and Document Management.This includes the storage of all Documents in accordance with all applicable laws and good Medical Practice.Set-up & maintain a tracking system to make those records accessible at a moments notice which is an improvement over the several days these requests used to take to comply with. Average number of boxes of records currently under supervision and control is approximately 600 in two separate rooms in a separate long term storage facility.

Managed a team of 6 Purchasing Agents that were previously part of 4 separate Purchasing Groups which maintained separate operations, budgets, and inventories.Combining those operations allowed for increased discounts from our vendors due to the consolidation of bulk purchases instead of smaller purchases made by each Group.Closed a working Medical Office and relocated to a brand new facility that was built out as per the coordination and work of myself and the Architects to assure all of the facility needs were met for all of the medical departments that were moving as well as all applicable laws.This move was completed in one weekend and the facility was open for full operation on Monday morning without any disruption of service to our members.Additional Facilities issues for all 23 Medical Centers located throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties in a 60 square mile area of Long Island.Project coordination included carpet replacement, painting, Medical Equipment Suites replacement programs to assure the equipment was in good working condition and assure that all areas had the latest equipment available within the budgeted allowance for these updates/upgrades.Direct responsibility for the analysis of new equipment technologies and selection of those technologies for implementation in the Medical Facilities under my control including Second Look Mammographic Equipment, Digital Filmless Image capture for Radiology Systems,New Bone Densitometry Systems, Radiology Systems, Ultrasound Systems, Laboratory Equipment and all other basic patient examination and clinical equipment required by a Healthcare Facility.

Purchasing Director for 50+ Medical Group locations in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens Counties. Facilities Repairs and Medical Suites replacement for all Medical Equipment from minor equipment up to selection and purchasing of Radiology Equipment and Digital Image Processing equipment. Staff included 6 Purchasing Agents that were brought together from six independent purchasing locations into one group to allow better negotiating of combined usage contracts from our suppliers. Worked closely with the Finance division to make certain all Invoices were paid on time.
