Silver Birch is a non profit charity and social enterprise who provide work focused training opportunities to adults with learning disabilities mainly through the provision of Social & Therapeutic Horticulture (STH). We also run a small social enterprise garden centre where all takings are reinvested back into our organisation.

I was the national lead officer for our Scotland services including our work in schools, direct services to children and families and our local campaigning activity.Key achievements:- leading our School service to become the highest performing team in the UK, reaching 3000 more children than target.- Delivery of a keynote at the Scottish Government ACES Hub on preventing childhood trauma- Securing the new First Ministers commitment to take account the needs of babies and young infants needs in The Promise implementation. - Securing £1 million pound additional investment annually to launch and additional Hub in Lothian.

Provided leadership to the Together for Childhood multi-agency partnership. Direct management of Research and Development Team and Community Engagement Team. Together for Childhood is a Govan based, systems change approach to prevention of child abuse and neglect.
