Cross functional lead for sales, marketing and supply process improvement.Key Areas/Achievements:Demand Planning: Responsible for the monthly rigor of the planning cycle. Co-pilot the sales team with key insight to improve shape and performance of the forecast used by the factory to supply product. Key accountability for SFA & BIAS metrics within confectionery. Brand Planning: Implemented a future focus element to the demand planning function looking at a 3-year horizon. Shifting the focus from individual SKU forecasting to brand tech. Sat as a member of the Brand S&OP planning team cross segment.Project Management: Key user for JDA planning tool during a project to upgrade the version used. Led the supply function in a major planning transformation project to implement a trade spend management tool in the unit. Fundamental change to business ways of working across sales and supply.

Responsible for managing the Mars Ireland S&OP cycle for Food to ensure accurate sales forecasts sent to the factory network.

Liverpool, United Kingdom

Responsible for the management of the John West S&OP process across all entities/geographical locations. Key user for the Futurmaster forecasting tool and link between sales and supply chain functions to ensure accurate demand planning to the plants.Key Areas/Achievements:Sales Forecasting: Monthly forecast guidance process carried out with NAMs and CSMs using the Futurmaster forecasting tool.Demand Planning: Managing the outcomes from the forecasting process with the supply chain functions to ensure accurate and achievable sourcing from the plants. Also the UK representative on the cross European demand group to drive improvements across the group.Process Improvement: Key user for Futurmaster. Responsible for driving improvements into the system to unlock business wide developments. This would involve project work and liaising with external consultants.

Dundrum - Ireland

Responsible for John West Ireland supply chain needs. Sales forecasting - responsible for the generation of the units 'by customer' sales forecast including promotional volume pictures. This process is managed by spreadsheet and is the basis for reporting to the group the extended volume picture for the Ireland unit. Carried out monthly with a view to year end picture.Demand Planning - manage the flow of stock into the local warehouse in Ireland which serves approx 70% of the business. 80+ SKU's are managed locally through this warehouse and demand is planned via spreadsheet for weekly draw down from central UK warehouse. Inventory management and control processes including stock booking on the system/main contact for end of year stock take etc. Responsible for all REPAK packaging declarations.Freight Planning - Co-ordinate and plan the freight movements, which are contracted from a third party provider, for all UK to Ireland deliveries. Ocean/Air frieght utilised on occasion. Small volume of freight invoicing undertaken.Direct Sourcing - Ireland specific products are sourced direct from factory. Key role in the specification development of the products. Responsible for planning the production of these lines to meet specific launch dates while also arranging the freight, customs, palletisation requirements for the product once landed in Ireland. Inter Affiliate Project Work - Regular projects are undertaken that involve the participation of all the affiliates within the group. Ireland representative on several of these key initiatives in UK centered around product launch analysis, product reconfiguration, product re-design/deep dive analysis.

7 month work placement program working in distribution development as part of my studies. The program involved working in a small team centered around business analysis.I worked on several improvement projects including the completion of the installation of the companies vehicle tracking system and further development of the system. Initiated & participated in a sit down development meeting across both companies to discuss improvments that could be made going forward.Another key initiative included a project to drive pick bay capacity at the companies frozen & chill location. This process included building a 'What If' analysis model to determine capacity on the warehouse floor given various scenarios.

Part time position held while completing my various studies.I worked in several departments in order to gain retail experience at store level.Areas: Back store, bakery, meat counter, deli counter, stock replenishment.
