As a Production Operator I work closely with the other trades on the platform to ensure that work-scopes are completed in a safe and efficient manner following all relevant procedures. I am an area authority and as such I ensure that equipment is correctly isolated and safe for work to be completed as per ISSOW.My daily routines involve the recording of numerous parameters on key plant equipment such as gas turbines, compressors and pumps and acting upon any readings out of normal ranges. Planned and unplanned maintenance activities are co-ordinated through SAP Maintenance Management.

Within this role, I liaised closely with the Nalco Champion account manager, the ENI onshore production engineers, chemists, and offshore production personnel. Working to ensure the smooth running of the process through the application and stewardship of all production chemicals as well as undertaking the daily sampling and analysis duties. Along with the regular duties I also undertook production chemical selection work, oversaw field trials and regularly contributed towards HAZOPS and MOC projects.Routine and project sampling and analysis work required the planning, collection and interpretation of pertinent information. I personally undertook the reformulation of the daily laboratory report and results template to allow the efficient collection, storage and analysis of all data along with its clear presentation to duty holders. Technical reports were authored as required following specific project work.

As the senior member of the global start-up support group I provided consistency across geomarkets with respect to setting up and managing new field and new business contracts before transitioning them to local personnel. I was responsible for bridging the gap between winning and executing the contract.My focus was to delight the customer by providing flawless execution upon contract award, in my time within this position I principally worked on the BP Angola, Block 31NE, PSVM FPSO contract along with Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd (CTEP) within the Platong and Benchamas fields of the gulf of Thailand and with Shell on the Malaysian Gumusut-Kakap field development.I worked intimately with the customer and was responsible for the writing and implementation of numerous chemicals applications manuals, oilfield start-up and chemicals first fill procedures, laboratory analysis/sampling methods and programs, and chemical warehouse and logistics standard operating procedures up to ISO 9001 accreditation.

Working within the production optimisation group I was involved in the development, selection and application of oilfield production chemicals with a primary focus on demulsification and water treatment. In these 6 years I worked with many customers in 18 countries and developed an excellent understanding of oil and gas production systems in all environments and conditions.
