Electronic Technician
CurrentDuring the last ten years, although I was primarily engaged as an electronics technician within a small team of research and development engineers, allied to the freshwater and wastewater distribution sectors, I have been increasingly required the expand my skills to include:· Technical documentation of the assembly, test and quality control procedures, using various Microsoft Office utilities.· The mechanical design and fabrication of test jigs for internal use and outsource suppliers.· Liaison with outsource suppliers. Including factory visits and production training.· Field and workshop service of clients’ equipment, after training and accreditation by the appropriate industry safety standards bodies.· Final assembly set up and testing prior to issuing equipment to specific purchase orders.· Component procurement and stock control, using Sage 200.· Fulfilment of packing and dispatch to UK, EU and worldwide destinations.
