Working with the JST management team - finding solutions, communicating and negotiating with clients/ business associates whilst continuously working to strategically expand and improve both the company’s procedures and sales metrics.Handling daily business issues, overseeing company needs and managing customer associations, recognising business and marketing opportunities.Championing Health & Safety and leading on compliance/HR to ensure understanding and adherence to industry guidance, laws and regulations.

Working with MD John Scott and leading the experienced management team at JST to provide a positive platform for delivery of our growing work programmes. JST operate a range of specialist plant from our base in Ayr Scotland. This includes a modern self loading timber haulage fleet and high specification, fully mobile Liebherr Port Handling equipment ranging from LH30/LH60 to static LH110 machines. We predominately work in the Port sector but are developing into Civils applications.In addition we operate a 3000t GDW box hold vessel in the Irish sea (round timber) and 2 floating pier terminals in Argyll, located at Lochgilphead and on the Island of Mull.

Reporting to board level . Regional responsibility for SWL management team and sub contracted 3rd party harvesting and haulage/logistics providers. Primary objective to source, market and safely deliver the North Scotland timber CTL harvesting programme to tight financial and compliance driven targets. Timber procured across both private and state ownership sectors to meet annual supply agreements with major domestic and Irish based timber and biomass customers.
