Held overall strategic responsibility for the Lead 2014 programme which harnessed the enthusiasm and potential of young people to create the next generation of sports leaders and raise the profile of the Games nationally.Developed and established the Glasgow 2014 Safeguarding Policy and subsequent Games Time Training which was recognised by Unicef as good practice for an international multi sport event.The Glasgow 2014 Volunteer Programme was the largest recruitment of volunteers in Scotland in peacetime with over 50,000 applications a Commonwealth Games record.
