My time was broadly split between ensuring national campaigns and initiatives were rolled out effectively in the region and working with the various office managing partners to develop the strategic effectiveness of their BD&M plans and tactics. Specific work included: client relationship reviews and plans (for a number of key clients), pitches, partner coaching, people / team management including performance issues and appraisals, development of marketing plans and the monitoring of office and regional budgets. I also developed a successful telemarketing campaign for the regional tax team that resulted in fees in the £100ks. The role came to an end after ten months due to it being a maternity cover contract. -

The Forensic Services department of PWC is in itself is a multi-million pound business with over three hundred people, I had responsibility for the marketing function, jointly with one other.My key responsibilities included: strategic marketing planning, marketing campaigns / thought leadership platforms, targeting programme / account development, direct marketing, collateral, online, events and PR management. Also the development and roll out of strategic plans and activity for forensic product groups and industry clusters, such as public sector / health. One example being a high profile advertising campaign for the PWC global licensing team, for which I developed an innovative ad suite based on a well-known children’s television character, Roary the Racing Car.I had responsibility for numerous winning proposals and tenders, including analysis, writing and production, which generated fees in £Ms.One highlight for me at PWC was that I had full project responsibility for the PWC Global Economic Crime Survey (Nov 2009). This was the largest global survey/thought leadership piece on economic crime / fraud ever published. I headed the project globally, including the development of online research from scratch, content development, online & hard copy materials, PR, performance metrics and project guidance for forty five PWC country teams.
