Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile.I'm delighted to say that I am now semi retiring from Portfolio FD work, and concentrating my efforts on broadening my Web and programming skills - see my various website projects below.Previously, as well as part owning a couple of businesses, I acted as FD to a variety of Companies, typically turning over between £1m and £20m.One of the things I find is that companies often don’t realise the difference between an Accountant and a true FD. At its simplest an accountant tells you what has happened, whereas an FD will tell you what is going to happen, and what the data actually means.With more than 40 years’ business experience, ranging from European FD at Procter & Gamble to co-owning a £2m UK based juicing and smoothie business, I understand what it takes to run, develop and then exit a successful company.
