Restructuring and rebranding of the company with the goal of helping the owners to attract investment or acquisition. · rebranding and creation of a cohesive marketing strategy; · the restructure of the accounting, customer service and professional development departments; · the design of the wireframe and project management of an extensive online vocational-learning environment and post-graduate certificate program for FSL teachers; · the securing of NRC/IRAP and SR+ED funding; · representing the company and the educational-publishing industry to the Ontario government as part of the Canadian Educational Resource Council (CERC); · the set up and support of a team of advocates in the Netherlands, doubling sales in the region; · the writing of the company's new business plan used to successfully secure acquisition and investment offers.

During eleven years with EF my responsibilities included: · overseeing academic operations for a franchise school division in Poland, Lithuania, Slovenia, Morocco and Azerbaijan; · regional recruitment of teachers, academic managers and trainers; · the training of teachers and school administrations (course design and delivery); · writing content and blended learning curriculum used throughout the EF chain of 150+ schools; · structuring and standardization of the placement and exit testing system for the chain; · set up and administration of a Trinity TESOL Diploma program (teacher training); · growing the Vancouver branch from start-up to a yearly enrollment of 3000 students in 5 years; · developing the TOEFL, IELTS and Cambridge exam programs and the Vancouver school's role as a Cambridge test center.

I taught an evening exam and language skills class to adult students requiring an IELTS score for immigrationpurposes.
