Generate new original ideas and theory by building on findings and insights. • Relate financial choice data to theories of learning, brain function and survey responses using factor analysis, mixed effects models, Bayesian inference and reinforcement learning models.• Present findings at leading international behavioural science conferences (e.g., Society for Neuroeconomics) and deliver keynote talks for international technology and psychology conferences (e.g., EmTech, European Conference on Positive Psychology). • Regularly write research articles for prestigious high impact peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Nature Neuroscience, Trends in Cognitive Science).• Communicate findings to the general public via radio (e.g., BBC Radio 4, Bringing up Britain), talks at public engagement events (e.g., Pint of Science), news editorials (e.g., NBC), online magazines (e.g., Wired), mainstream press (e.g., Time Magazine) and TV (e.g., Secrets of the Brain, Sky).• Supervise research students (e.g., via weekly one to ones, feedback and training sessions). Agree clear task objectives, organise, and delegate work to other members of the research team; train and coach team members on specialist analysis methodologies.• Raise research funds through grant applications (e.g., 250K: Wellcome Trust Fellowship) to independently pursue behavioural science research. Manage and monitor a research budget.• Carry out collaborative projects with researchers in partner institutions and research groups.
