Part of the senior management team settings strategy and responsible for solution product life cycle management including launch. This includes the identification and development of integrated offerings and value proposition to ensure achievement of budget.Acting as an ambassador for Canon in the market with third party suppliers and influence strategy. This includes the definition of the marketing strategy for integrated offerings and concepts development for go-to-market. This is underpinned by the responsibility of future customer requirements/trends at a product/services level with integrated security and governance controls.

To provide strategic direction, advice and guidance to the business related to trends, standards (local as well as international e.g. ISO) and technology to enhance the company message, products and solutions. Act as a trusted adviser and providing a lead role for information security risk management and governance for the client and business to ensure that best posture/outcome is achieved.Responsible for ensuring that Canon and its clients are in a position to fulfil the project/solution requirements whilst protecting the interests of both.To monitor, review and analyse the current trends and policies in information security and governance. Provide advice, recommendation and thought leadership to enable the business to make decisions related to product/solution development and IT systems & processes.An intrinsic part of the role is to develop and maintain relationships with leading industry bodies, clients and customers. This assisted fulfilling the objective to advise the business and clients with authority.
