Moving to Education in 2016, I began in HR as an instructor for the company's internal 5-week technical onboarding program. Responsible for scheduling and delivering intensive training sessions, I would also create additional content. support employees, and invigilate and grade certification exams. In 2018, I was promoted to manage the team of employee instructors in Warsaw.During my time as an educator within MicroStrategy, I was seconded to teach semesters of Data Analytics at Warsaw's SGH, Politechnika, and Kozminski universities.In 2020, Employee Development was merged with the Customer Education business unit where I was promoted to Senior Manager for Education Services, Eastern-Europe and Asia Pacific managing a team of 6 instructors across Poland, Singapore, Australia, Japan, and Dubai. I ensured employees were utilised, engaged, supported, and content. In this role, I liaised regularly with Account teams to assist in the sales of Education Services, and often met with customers to assist in creating learning paths and education plans for their organisations.After 2 years of online virtual learning, in 2022, the organisation decided to bring new employees back together for an in-person onboarding experience. Alongside my existing responsibilities, I was tasked with rebooting the Technical Bootcamp experience, and managing the program worldwide.

I joined MicroStrategy as a Senior Associate Graphic Designer engaged in Mobile Application User Interface design before being promoted to Team Lead of Graphic / UI design team a year later. For several years, I was responsible for the leadership, administration, scheduling, and performance of my team. During this time, I conducted soft-skills training, delivered worldwide, including 3-day courses on communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.Throughout my time in MicroStrategy, my native British accent and experience in radio and podcasting presentation was exploited by my employer ad hoc. I provided numerous voiceovers, narrations, and dubbing for educational and promotional video content.

For 4 years, I taught the fundamentals of photography class to 3rd and 4th year high school students. I wrote the syllabus, the teaching materials, and devised in-class exercises. For the most part, classes were attended in person, however, Google Class was adopted during the pandemic. I provided the class with homework, regular graded evaluation, and an end-of-year practical project. All administration of the class was conducted on the Librus system.

Too Many Fireworks was a Scottish independent record label in operation from 2001 until 2021. I was the sole owner of the organisation and managed it while working across other roles both in and outside of the music industry both in Scotland and after I emigrated to Poland thus I have much experience of the independent music industries of both countries. I was responsible for scouting, negotiating, and forming agreements with artists, then releasing and marketing single, e.p. and album releases - 32 in total. Additionally, I organised and promoted concerts of bands from across Europe, produced and presented several radio shows and podcasts, appeared on a number of panel discussions, and DJ-ed at and promoted a successful indie club night. I was curator of a regular film / music event called Scores, and I was founder and producer of a series of TEDx-like Salon events for the music industry, called IndieTalks. During this time, I mentored several up-and-coming local bands.

For more than 20 years, I wrote songs and played the guitar in a number of indie-pop and post-rock bands, including Troika, The Frozen North, and Pop-up Books. As a solo artist, I composed modern-classical and ambient music for piano and strings before returning to guitar and indie rock. In the last 10 years, I have remixed a number of bands from across the world including Worriedaboutsatan, and VLMV. As a DJ, I've performed across Europe, and presented radio shows for Warsaw University's Radio Kampus, and the independent internet station, Radio Kapitał.

Along with a team of 4 others, I co-founded the TEDxWarsawSalon, spun off from the larger TEDxWarsaw conferences of which I was a speaker liaison, coach, music booker and the director of the after-parties. For Salon, I appeared as the on-stage compere and was later invited to host second-venue and streaming events, including TEDxWarsaw Presidential Palace.

Published in the Glasgow Herald, The Sunday Mail, The Reykjavik Grapevine, the Airdrie and Coatbridge Advertiser, the Big Issue, The Skinny, The List, and on several indie record covers. Exhibitions in 13th Note, Glasgow, and the Scottish National Football Museum. With my multimedia collaboration, We Sink Ships, my work was displayed at the Edinburgh International Arts Festival.
