"The Medium is the Message" -McLuhan In college this was a theory that was taught by my class. The theory revolves around the idea that the Medium of the message should be the focus of the study not only the message. The medium would be the TV that is playing the TV show. The reason I am bringing this theory as the forefront of my LinkedIn summary is because it theory that is always relevant especially in today's constant media world. I think for me what this idea installed is that SUBTEXT is always important. Now some people may think a Communication Major is easy and just another degree. What I think a Communication theorist is in a business is someone who is flexible and understanding. They are adaptable and perform under any circumstance because they were taught how to read the situation by the subtext of communication cues. That is what I am and what I believe. I am someone who analyze, adapt, and prevail. My principals that I believe are:Empathy: I understand and feel.Understanding: that we are on the same page and know each party is accountable to each other.
