Working for 30 years in Law Enforcement and Security has allowed me meet many interesting people and impacted just as many lives. In my current position, I try to serve as a mentor to those entering the field or looking to advance. I am an instructor in First Aid and CPR/AED, which meshed well with my previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician. This also allows me to satisfy my desire to teach, something I have been interested in since high school. Outside of work, I volunteer as an Assistant Scoutmaster, Merit Badge Counselor, and treasurer for the Boys Scouts of America. This is another opportunity to mentor and teach as well as a sense of community involvement.
