The main priorities of the IOM Country Office for Belgium and Luxembourg are to develop and implement programmes and projects, working closely with institutions such as the State Secretary for Asylum and Migration, Fedasil, the Belgian Immigration Office, the Belgian Development Cooperation, the European Commission and in close collaboration with diverse partners within the civil society.IOM in Belgium and Luxembourg has successfully been implementing various projects in the field of labour mobility and social inclusion. During my time at IOM I was responsible for the coordination of the Other Talk - Teaching Migration project. Participant in a social consultancy project in cooperation with the Belgian NGO Trias and Hoima, Fort Portal en Kasese Microfinance. As interdisciplinary team we supported The Hoima District Farmers' Association in improving their agricultural yields and reducing the risks associated with the intensification of agriculture. The project focused on (1) developing a suited microinsurance, (2) giving the agricultural cooperation (over 11 000 farmers) access to market information via ICT4Development and (3) and developing an early warning system to manage pests and diseases.

The company cooperates closely with UN organizations, Danish and international foundations, corporates, governments and NGOs. Main responsibilities:- Conducting in-depth research in a structured and analytical manner- Communicating insights and results through written reports and presentations - Supporting outreach to partners and participating in client and project meetingsThe highlight of my time at Dalberg Media was the conceptualization, facilitation and execution of an innovation lab in Rabat on behalf of the Moroccan Ministry of Youth and Sports, the UNDP and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. This innovation lab brought together 100 driven, talented and entrepreneurial young Moroccans to conceptualize solutions to tackle some of Morocco’s biggest social and economic challenges.
