As the Director of Global Sales, I acted as liaison between MGM Resorts International and Latin America. I developed and executed strategic account business plans to maximize revenue streams at our 13 Las Vegas resorts. I also provided ongoing evaluation, account analysis, and gave feedback to partners on a monthly and quarterly basis. My role was focused on creating brand awareness and exposure through trade shows, sales calls, fam trips, and other industry functions. I specialized in developing tactics with operators to strategically shift share and drive demand during peak booking periods and property need dates. Before becoming a Sales Director, I was a Group Sales Manager. During my tenure, I secured groups for 13 of the top Las Vegas Resorts from all international market segments; Executed contracts; Negotiated rates; Attended relevant industry trade shows; Scheduled quarterly sales calls; Conducted hotel site inspections; Maintained strong relationships with clients and managed a team team. For the past 5 years, I persistently exceeded quotas and generated sales. Since 2016 through 2019 I was awarded the President’s award for achieving over 150% of my year goal. Currently I am following my dream of attaining a Psychology degree by attending my last year at UNLV.
