I am a Research Fellow with the Fire to Flourish program at Monash University. I am a settler-descended researcher with a focus on trauma-informed and healing-centred community engagement. I have engaged in collaborative research with First Nations communities across Australia for over 7 years, with a focus on building and maintaining trusting and respectful relationships to develop research priorities and positive outcomes for communities. Prior to joining Fire to Flourish, I worked in State Government, where I led extensive community engagement and innovative policymaking. This included the design, implementation and evaluation of a resourcing program supporting First Nations communities to work towards their collective aspirations, including Treaties with the Victorian Government.I am a skilled facilitator, with training and experience in negotiation, and enjoy working with groups to record their experiences and to support them to achieve collective aspirations.
