About Nelly Mathias
Hi, I'm Nelly, the founder of WECARRY. At home with my parents, I was always bothered by all the paper bags. Back then, our dog always got the stale bread - stored in lots of individual paper bags. And because it annoyed me so much, I asked myself why there wasn't an alternative yet. An alternative that conserves resources and produces significantly less waste. Together with my co-founder Mischa, we then developed the idea of a deposit-based reusable system: WECARRY. With WECARRY, we give bakeries the opportunity to offer reusable packaging for their baked goods.My years of experience in consulting and auditing have helped me to set up a sustainable business model. Why buy packaging every time if you only want to use it for a short time? With our reusable solution, we all save on waste - and the bakeries save on the cost of unnecessary disposable packaging. I look forward to exchanging ideas with you!
