I'm pivoting careers from being a public school educator who has worked in four states and with students from prekindergarten through 12th grade into education policy. Previously, I led the sixth grade teaching team at Walker Upper Elementary. Using my project management, community organizing, and data analysis skills I cultivated through teaching, I organized and mobilized voters to get out the vote within my role as the Deputy Field Director during Jim Hingeley’s campaign for Commonwealth’s Attorney. I approach my work through a lens of equity, systems level thinking, and partnership so that I could provide students with the highest quality education. I am eager to connect so that we can create a more equitable world. Let’s get after it!
