Alex is a senior lawyer qualified in England and Wales who specialises in corporate and commercial work and is experienced in managing large-scale, multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions. Alex also advises on general company law issues and the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts including supply, distribution/agency, manufacturing, warehousing and outsourcing agreements.Alex has particular experience in advising US companies on acquisitions in the UK and Europe in the defense and aerospace industry, as well as matters relating to export control and sanctions compliance.Alex has spent time working in-house including a year-long secondment, as sole counsel, for the UK operations of a large NYSE listed consumer goods company. Alex has also completed a secondment to an international satellite communications business and acted as interim counsel to the European business of a US headquartered pharmaceutical company.
