Developed pipelines for large next-generation sequencing data sets on a Sun Grid Engine cluster. Developed scripts and programs within the Linux environment to automate tasks. Analyzed genomes and exomes, searching for disruptive de novo copy number variants. Developed scripts using Python and Perl to allow programs previously run on a large machine, to be run on the Sun Grid Engine cluster. Developed programs in Python to identify structural variants within paired-end next generation sequencing data.
