The Planning lead role is responsible for overall infrastructure services planning for their aligned business segment including: Forecast and Demand Management, portfolio alignment to strategic initiatives, helping to define and manage the overall interaction model between ITS and the segment technology, bi-directional segment and ITS priority alignment, driving cost reduction and continuous improvement to services. The accountabilities for the role include but are not limited to the following: • Drive resource forecasting and demand management for aligned business segment. Work closely with their aligned business segment to understand work plans / forecasts ensuring we are positioned to meet demand, and share usage, currency and financial information. • Drive strategic alignment of segment portfolio infrastructure to strategic enterprise initiatives • Maintain an effective interaction model between ITS and aligned business segment. o Engagement/escalation processes documented and implemented and reviewed/optimized on an ongoing basis.o Determine ongoing training requirement for segment and ITS on processes and technology supporting partner interaction.o Ensure bi-directional communication and engagement as required for business sponsored projects that impact ITS as well as ITS/ETS initiatives that impact the business segment. • Provide oversight of aligned segment infrastructure costs (fixed and consumption). • Through input from segment and ITS management team, identify opportunities for cross functional improvements.
