Role - To carry out all lending operations activities in respect of borrowing clients in accordance with the Bank’s policies and Procedures and Regulatory requirements.My Responsibilities include:Upon receipt of approvals from Risk Team, Relationship Managers etc. (in respect of Corporate, SME, Business Lending, Channel Finance, Consumer Finance customers) duly vetted & released by Documentation Vetting Unit, studying the same and thereafter picking up relevant details for input of all the lines./limits, including interest rates, expiry dates, margins, commissions, etc., as well as all the terms and conditions (where possible) in their respective fields in an accurate manner, in the minimum possible time, so that the customers facilities are set-up in the system without delayAnalysing the customer’s securities, linkage of guarantors etc. and thereafter picking up relevant details from the same for input into the security profiles, so that necessary relevant data is available in a system where possible.Updating of Drawing Power of the Client against various types of collaterals including Stock Statements, Shares.Carrying out of Freeze Input/De-Freeze, based on instructions of the concerned authorities.Handling overrules with effective liaison with Relationship Managers and Risk to ensure fast turnaround.Preparation, generation and circulation of all required MI to the Higher Management Team(for internal and regulatory stakeholders) timely and accurately.Liaising with the Relationship Managers and other stakeholders in case of any issues with respect to lending operations.Escalating all issues in a timely manner to ensure these are satisfactorily.Supporting and assisting the Head of Lending Operations and Head of Banking Operations in all new initiatives and projects, as may be required from time to time.

Knowledge of Vanilla & Structured Products.Part of Derivatives Confirmations Affirmation and Quality checking team.Performing trade validation for the trades booked in RBS booking systemChecking the Counter party Confirmations against our booking in GDS in accordance with the provision of ISDA2000 and 2008 Definitions. Ensuring timely and accurate resolution of queries.Perform trade position reconciliations daily to ensure all outstanding breaks are resolved on a promptly basis. Dealing with queries received by counter parties and resolving the same in consultation with London Middle Office & London Query Team.Monitor internal error queues and perform investigations to ensure appropriate actions are taken for errors in the queue.Ensuring timely and accurate management of Group Mailbox queries.Imparting of Product & System knowledge to the existing as well as the new team members.Mentoring new joiners and giving timely feedback to the First Checkers so that they avoid making errors.Preparing Work Shadow for the new entrants & constantly monitoring their performance.Follow up with technology team on outstanding system-related issues and ensure root cause of STP (Straight-Through-Process) failures are identified and resolved.Meeting and exceeding performance required by Regulatory commitments, Front office and Clients make sure that RBS rank highly in Market metrics.Ensuring that internally defined KPI’s / KRI are adhered to and reported.Ensuring minimal occurrence of incidentsAppropriate implementation and communication of workout ideas generated within area
