My career began very young when my immigrant father would let me take the family roadtrip pics on his 35mm Minolta X-370. Then in High School attended an afterschool TV and Video Production course that cemented my love for the visual arts; learning broadcast cameras, video tape, linear editing and writing/producing.Got started in photography professionally back in the early 2000s when digital was first beginning, so still had to learn film; what type to use, how to meter light, loading, shooting, but super decisive because only 24/36 frames per roll, unless medium format then only 12 or large format depending on how many film holders you prepped, then developing, printing, drying, mounting, exhibiting and then all over again. I fell in love with the process. Going out and capturing that moment in time, not knowing what you got until later, really having to think before pushing the shutter, we used to wait...These days I'd like to consider myself a photoshop master, even tho there are so many ways to reach the same goal and always so much more to learn that really I've only mastered that which I need to know and I got so fast where I reach my state of flow and rarely have to take my eyes of the screen, sorta like playing piano. The slow old school photo process is gone, but I've replaced those steps with planning, communication, execution, celebration and then all over again. If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together. I forget where I read that, but it never left me, and thats why I value teamwork so much, and always try to lead by example, and own up to my mistakes and learn from.Accept imperfection and you feel perfect. Try to be perfect and you're imperfect. Accepting a negative experience is a positive experience, but fighting a negative experience means you suffer twice. That I stole from YouTube and repeat to myself constantly. In today's age all you see is always so polished and flawless, but we gotta remember the natural side of things as well in order to be able to connect on the same level. Don't get me wrong tho, I too am guilty of mega retouching when it's called for, but always try to remind everyone what I do isn't real, especially the youth. So this bio got weird, but that's what I do, and bring to every table. I'm different but effective. I know when to listen and always learning how and when to speak in any and every situation...But also I'm obviously a lil weird, but effective.Let’s create together, no?I wrote this isht
