I am a software developer with a background in healthcare. I am persistent, enjoy learning, and love problem solving. A little more about me:I am that kid that was always sent home with notes from my teacher saying I was talkative and bothering the other students with my chatter. Well, in all these years not much has changed. I am still the talker, but I no longer disturb others. Instead, I ask questions to gain information, to teach others or simply to see how you are doing. When I decided to become a software developer, I quickly began to use this skill to my advantage. I ask tons of questions wanting to learn, trying to figure out how things are built, and to problem solve any situation I run into. One of my favorite questions to ask is 'How do I do that?' Sometimes I'll ask others this question and they'll help me out but other times I'll do the footwork myself and figure it out. Also, I'm not satisfied with the answer 'this is how we do it' I want to know things like: Why do we do it this way? Is there a better way? Have we tried this? Have we tried that? Now I'm not unreasonable, I can concede or compromise in any situation but what I'm truly after is a deep understanding of the task at hand and I am more than happy to share any knowledge gained with others. I am a software developer, and I am a lifelong learner and teacher.
