Today only the Sky account has more than 100 people in Barcelona’s office.During these years I’ve been proactively volunteered for different projects/challenges:• Being part of the first nearshore agile team in Sky (full remote from Barcelona since 2010).• Set up a new team to take over a complex component involved in most Sky projects in a critical moment. Without domain knowledge and dealing with a big list of defects we managed to deliver the component while adding additional features for other projects.• The growth of the team in 3 years went from 7 to 24 people, being 40% of the Sky account at that moment. Each year Involved in most of the Sky projects (average 8 projects per year).• My teams were affected by internal Sky reorgs changing department 4 times. It required engagements with new leadership stakeholders and build new relationships.• I was asked to replicate the success of my existing teams and spin off a new team (7 people) for a different department. First project was strategic, and it was delivered successfully being awarded internally with the Sky Awards 2019.• Co-organiser of the Comet agile community: Organising meetups, talks, training courses and knowledge-sharing groups.• Know the people and have fun is important for me as well so I actively organised team building activities in the office: Football, beach volley, contests and afterwork beers that now are part of the office’s culture.
