About Nelson Isaac Baez

I have worked in national and international healthcare and public health for 22 years, focusing on marginalized and at-risk communities. My educational background includes a medical degree from the Dominican Republic, a Master of Public Health from the Consortium of Northeast Ohio Master of Public Health (CEOMPH) program at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), and certification as a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE). For the past decade, I have lived and worked in Northeast Ohio, using my personal and professional voice as a member of the Latinx, B-I-POC, and LGBTQ+ communities to support and strengthen marginalized and at-risk groups. My experience includes working with non-profit and government agencies. I am enthusiastic and passionate about reaching health equity for our patients. Because of this, I understand directly and indirectly that this has positively affected the communities I support and serve personally and professionally.
