As a dedicated retail leader with a deep passion for landscaping, horticulture, home décor, and exquisite outdoor living, I am so incredibly driven to create beautiful displays that elevate the customer experience and ultimately inspires patrons to purchase.Since 2017, I have worked for one of Long Island’s premier firms, Laurel Group Outdoor Living. As Business Manager, I wear many different hats but am primarily responsible for outdoor pottery and plant merchandising, purchasing, and inventory management. As the granddaughter of a Long Island farmer and gardener, my ties to the garden center industry run incredibly deep. While still attending high school, I was hired as a Cashier at upscale gardening center Martin Viette Nurseries and almost immediately became enamored with the nursery’s greenhouse and entire business operation. Turning a passion into a career, I rapidly earned promotions to several management-level roles within the organization. Sensing my commitment to the field, Martin Viette’s owner Russell Ireland generously decided to invest in my career by fully funding my studies in Ornamental Horticulture at SUNY Farmingdale.
