With over 30 years of experience in the veterinary industry, from veterinary technician to operations manager, I am a seasoned leader and strategist who enjoys supporting teams and driving positive outcomes. As the current Chief Operations Officer at PAZ Veterinary, I oversee the operations and finances of our four locations in Austin, Texas. I put my primary focus on enhancing the culture and veterinary hospital environment for our staff and clients. Paz currently offers GP, TCVM, and Behavioral services.My core competencies include critical thinking, project management, strategic planning, vendor management, relationship development, recruiting, change management, and keeping positive work environments. I have strong mergers/acquisition/integration experience- I integrated 49 veterinary practices across various regions and specialties, as part of the Mergers and Acquisition team at Pathway Vet Alliance (now Thrive Pet Healthcare). Prior to my position on the Integrations team, I regionally managed the operations and finances of 18+ practices (GP, Spec, ER) in the United States. I am passionate about relationship building, empathetic communication, cohesive leadership, and process improvement in the veterinary field.
