I am an intern with NIL Learning, training as a Network Operations Centre engineer (NOC). My role includes fault and performance management of the National Health Laboratories Service (NHLS), reporting incidents, and liaising with clients and third party service providers over the phone and online to resolve issues. I am also familiar with Solar Winds.

Responsibilities included:Media Management Responsible for all media management in the office (i.e. copying footage to external media such as DVDs, External Hard Drives and Memory Sticks) Responsible for ensuring recording (P2)cards are ready for shootsResponsible for recording which cards are on which shootsResponsible for all documentation relating to media managementResponsible for media management on shootsResponsible for ordering of tapes and CDs/ DVDs'Responsible for tracking Hard Drive usage.Responsible for preparing media for collection by clients.Equipment ManagementResponsible for ensuring that all the gear is in its correct placeResponsible for ensuring gear is cleaned after every shoot (managing other staff in order to ensure that this is completed)Responsible for ensuring gear is tested after every shoot managing other staff in order to ensure that this is completed) Responsible for managing the repair process (getting quotes from suppliers, getting technicians to fix what can be fixed etc.)Responsible for completing the packing lists for shootsResponsible for preparing the insurance lists for each jobResponsible for maintaining the booking board in the equipment roomResponsible for ensuring processes are followed by all staff membersResponsible for ensuring that all templates are used correctly and filed after every shootResponsible for stock take of equipmentWill go on shoots that require intense equipment management
