Product costing stream lead in a large Finance Transformation project for Naspers Video Entertainment division, including Multichoice (SA and Africa), SuperSport and MNet. The role requires a review of the product costing principles, policies, processes and systems: what product costing is being used for in the business, how users'​ needs can be met, how processes and systems be standardised across multiple business units and geographies to obtain comparable and usable information for decision-making purposes, and how the organisation can be structured to take advantage of a shared services environment.

I was the Stream Lead for standardising finance processes across the 50 FET Colleges and Project Manager for the delivery of executive and non-executive Councillor Induction Training for the newly constituted Councils of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges.

In the past three years I have performed the following major roles: Business case lead on a Credit Transformation program at a leading bank (Financial Services) Project manager on a SAP Programme and Shared Services transformation project. The role involved planning and managing finance team activities to build business capabilities and processes for a SAP implementation and implementation of enabling technologies to support the restructured finance function in the shared service. Business case tracking lead on Shared Services transformation project. The role required design and implementation of consolidated functional cost reporting across 14 business units and design and presentation of business case tracking reports. I performed two main roles in Client Financial Management, being a12 month tenure on a complex global ERP (SAP) implementation project and a 14-month tenure dedicated to the Financial Services Industry division.Project accountant, Complex global SAP implementation for a Global Brewer (May 2009 - May 2010)The main purpose of this role was management of the project accounting on the R300m South African roll-out of a global SAP implementation. This was a challenging role due to the size of the project and the complexities of the accounting structure.
