Working in shifts on a rotation basis.The internet video content creators will be responsible for video delivery across multi-media projects.Responsibilities:Scheduling, logging and sourcing of video material.Intercepting briefs from DLDE management team.Basic off line editing and video trimming.Encoding of high resolution video for internet, mobile and tablet platforms.FTP and content management/publishing of video content.Testing and quality assurance of all video content.Archiving and maintenance of all assigned video content.Generating detailed reports on all video delivery, testing and processes.Available to be trained in new trends in VOD (video on demand services) and multi-media production.Key Requirements:Needs to be familiar with editing software packages (experience with Final Cut Pro an advantage).Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac literacy a must.Needs to be familiar with South African and international mainstream television/ entertainment and sport (rugby and advantage).Training and/or a qualification in the television broadcast industry an advantage.Experience with content management systems (CMS) an advantage.Work will be conducted on a shift rotation basis, comprising of weekends and night and day shifts.Must:Be organizedPay attention to detailBe able to work under pressureHave a passionate learning attitudeMeet extremely tight deadlines.Teamwork and communication will be vital for the success achieved in this position.
