As a Registered Behavior Technician, I provide evidence-based interventions to children with autism spectrum disorder. I collaborate with a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and parents to create and implement individualized treatment plans that address the needs and goals of each client. I also collect and analyze data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the interventions, and report any issues or concerns to the supervisors.I am passionate about helping people with autism to achieve their full potential and improve their quality of life. I have a Master of Education degree in Special Education- Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from Texas State University, which I earned in December 2023, where I learned the theoretical and practical aspects of designing, delivering, and evaluating educational programs and services for this population. I have an Associate's Degree in Biology from Laredo College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and certified in adult and pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid. I have strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and professionalism skills, and I am eager to complete my BCBA supervision hours by 2024.
