 Work closely with government customers to ensure their network requirements are well defined and then translate those requirements into robust, scalable and reliable technical solutions. Describe and document these solutions in an EO (Engineering Order) which is used by the Operations group for implementation. Peer review the Engineering Orders of other engineers to provide the best possible product

 Configure and maintain AMC’s (Air Mobility Command) NetCOP (Network Common Operating Picture) server suite. NetCOP is an enterprise management application which consolidates network events from various CITS (Combat Information Transport System) approved monitoring tools such as NetIQ Appmanager, HPOpenview Network Node Manager and CiscoWorks 2000

Configure equipment and maintain connectivity for the Scott AFB metropolitan area network. The Scott AFB network consists almost entirely of Cisco equipment (some equipment models listed below) and supports approximately 13,000 users. Provide technical support and troubleshoot base-wide LAN consisting of about 15,000 users at Robins AFB. The Robins network is primarily a flat network with a gigabit fiber backbone. Install and troubleshoot tactical digital telephone circuits (KY-68 tactical phones) in South Korea. Troubleshoot long-haul digital and analog communications circuits for Air Combat Command and the Air Force Weather Agency over various transmission mediums such as IDNX (Copper wire), LOS (line of sight microwave transmission) and satellite transmission at Offutt AFB, NE.
