I have always enjoyed drawing and painting and exploring the great outdoors with my hunting buddy Gage and the friends he lets me bring along for the many adventures we have shared. I have tried to combine my love of the outdoors, hunting, and hunting dogs into much of my art. I think as an artist I must have started at around two or three years of age and it hasn't stopped yet. My grandmother, Laura Lee; was who first got me started in painting at a very young age. My Aunt JoAnn was also a big influence on me as a young artist with her beautiful landscape water color paintings of the North Carolina mountains and surrounding foothills. This is who I really got my love of wildlife painting from. She also encouraged me to attend East Carolina University where I graduated with a BFA in Environmental Design. I am a supporter of Delta Waterfowl Chapter where I donate each year, an exclusive chapter print. The Boykin Spaniel Society is another organization I support and donate to on a regular basis.
