Served as chair of the Leadership Sandy Springs Volunteer For A Better Sandy Springs Day program. Grew volunteer participation from 70 to 80 people to over 600 volunteers from churches, schools, businesses, civic groups, and lay people. Engaged local organizations and grew volunteer sites from a few to over 10 locations for each of the two years. Designed infrastructure and managed volunteers through motivation and training to handle volume of volunteers and activities. Partnered with Hands On Atlanta for training volunteers who were managing other volunteers. My two year leadership resulted in 4000 community service hours given to the community for close to $70,000 worth of labor for the organizations which hosted volunteers. In the first year, I wrote and received a grant from The Home Depot. The second year, I wrote and received a grant from The Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta.

Helped vaccine manufacturer launch newly FDA approved childhood vaccine to state immunization programs throughout the southeastern United States. Wrote marketing plan and worked independently as an area sales manager with seven state territory. Served as liaison between manufacturer and a large pharmaceutical partner*s sales force.
