-Built the Upward Bound Math and Science program from the ground up in compliance with the UBMS grant-Recruited, hired, and trained the staff and volunteers for the program-Grow the community partners to help support the program-Provided programming forecast, direction, budget, and leadership-Develop the systems and processes that make the program a success-Helped 50 graduating seniors secured over $4,000,000 in grants and scholarships-Manage/supervise a staff of 6 and 65 participating students each year

• Initiated a vision statement, mission, and strategic plan for the young adult department• Increased YA programming attendances and participations (7,000 in 2015 to 11,000 in 2016)• Supported OPL’s strategic plan by developing programming that connects the community to the library such as Millard Public Schools, Omaha Public Schools, 4H, Robotics Education Council, CREATE, Vex Robotic, and Boys Town• Initiated and executed plans for extensive STEM programming and promotions including a science fair, coding classes, robotics, and teen led science/engineering activities• Mentors and guides teen volunteers toward developing important leadership skills, motivating them to become lifelong library users and involved citizens• Created a successful system of mentoring program for young adults to run and design their own programming at the library• Created a Teen Space for young adults in the library with supports from local teens• Started a VEX Robotics team with a REC Robotics grant that I wrote• Helped the VEX Robotics team get to the National Championship• Supervised volunteers
