Hello, my name is Ana Nguyen! Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about pursuing a career in the medical field. While my dream careers have shifted over time, they all shared one common thread: a connection to medicine. Currently, I aspire to become a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pediatrics.To emphasize my dedication to the Health Sciences, I have taken numerous courses that have led me to earn the CTE Health Science Pathway Completer Award. My coursework includes Intro to Health Science, CE Bio 1610, Honors Chemistry, Medical Anatomy and Physiology, AP Psychology, and CNA classes. This year, I am furthering my knowledge by taking CE Medical Terminology and AP Chemistry, both of which will support my goal of earning a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.I am also gaining hands-on experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Seasons Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home, my first step into the medical field. This role has allowed me to practice essential skills that will benefit my future career, such as taking vitals, charting, and measuring blood sugar levels.
