Hello! I'm Cindy (she/her/hers). I'm a UW alumni (BA in Psychology) and current UW student (MSW in progress)! I started in the mental health field working as a residential counselor for a CLIP facility in King County, WA. From there, I was promoted to a mental health technician holding a NAR and AACR license. Transitioning out of direct care, I pursued case management/care coordination with SeaMar in their health homes department. Balancing a full course load during my MSW, I decided to prioritize my studies and seek part-time work. I transitioned into ABA therapy for youth and young adults with Good Intentions Counseling. I also was able to serve clients doing specialized habilitation services with my AACR license. This role then lead me to continuing ABA work with the Issaquah school district serving their high school population. I currently work in crisis intervention with the 988 hotline team and with DCYF as a Social Service Specialist. I recently graduated with my MSW and am on my journey to pursue licensure! My future goals include, becoming a designated crisis responder or social worker with local PD/Fire Dept. Great to meet you!
