Promoted to manager and manage Data management team. Main responsibility are EBOM (engineering BOM) and Engineering change management.

Come back to Data management team and worked as data manager with same role and responsibility. And promoted to Team leader.

Ensure quality and timing for new project – mainly in development phase of each new car Model, by working with multiple functions across the organization and suppliers, partners. Report to leadership.

Working mainly in PLM system (Product Lifecycle Management system) to control technical data (Drawing, standard books…): 1) Build up data release process and Engineering change process with IT. 2) Ensure input quality of each data release package which engineering raise the release or Engineering change. 3) Manage quality of BOM (Bill Of material). 4) Support cost team in product cost base on BOM (BOM cost) / BOM weight. 5) Set up product configurator in PLM so that the BOM can link to other systems in downstream: SAP, MES…for production.

1) Calculating the capacity of the workshop to decide which parts could be localized.2) Make detail Plan and maintain the plan for launching Press Dies and Jigs foreach new Model Project.3) Working with Dies/ Jigs supplier to ensure quality and timing by meetings or go function check at suppliers.4) Working with other workshops to ensure testing / tryout plan of overall project.

Production engineer in Press shop with main equipment are Press machine and Press dies and Jigs. My tasks were: 1) Support production line in engineering side to ensure safety, quality and productivity. 2) Support Press machine maintenance and Press die maintenance in: Make maintenance plan, Order spare parts, contact with out-source supplier for maintaining equipments in press shop; Find out root-cause why machine shut down and give countermeasure. 3) Production line improvement: Study and implement kaizen ideas (improvement ideas) to improve safety, productivity and cost saving (Example: Saving raw material, reducing manual process by using machine, improve press machine efficiency by many improvement ideas. 4) Study and report to manager / Plant director the solution or layout for expanding the workshop in case the production volume increasing.
